Program Description
Renzulli Learning is an online platform that helps teachers to differentiate instruction and foster student engagement. By focusing on individual strengths and interests, the program aims to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and 21st-century skills with the goal of supporting personalized learning and equitable opportunities for all students, from Pre-K to 12th grade.
Program Outcomes
The impact of Renzulli Learning was examined in a cluster-randomized study involving 383 elementary and middle school students from two schools; a high-poverty urban middle school in Georgia and a suburban elementary school in southern California. Students in treatment classrooms used Renzulli Learning for 2-3 hours each week for a 16-week period. After 16 weeks, students in classes assigned to use Renzulli Learning demonstrated significantly higher growth in oral reading fluency (effect size = +0.10) than those in classes assigned to business-as-usual instruction, earning Renzulli Learning a Promising ESSA rating.
